boxing day
01s63's gathering was a very typical affair - a meal followed by pool. as usual, more guys than
girls. i was in bad form, out of practice, so wasn't really in the mood to play. made it a point to tok to everyone abit, except one... altho darling n deedee were 'encouraging' me to. hehe. took a few pix n they had a good laugh viewing my xie3 zhen1 ji2. yes, i admit i'm zi4 lian4. =p

i've become an auntie. cousin's wife gave birth to a healthy baby boy early this morn. visited them juz now, n got to carry the baby for a while.......
made me realise that indeed, i'm not ready for a baby. not that i want one now, juz that i like
children n sometimes think of having babies. but now, looking at the lil baby... so small, so weak,
so helpless. i really must be very strong n prepared if i ever wanna be a mother.
expected my cousin to be happy n excited to be a father. he looked scared, nervous, stressed n
unhappy instead. think despite the 9 months of preparing, seeing the real life baby kicking n
crying n breathing in front of him still takes some getting used to. think he's still not ready.
