yigencao & my dear
met up with them tonite for a short 2 hours. almost missed the last bus, n yigencao was insisting that i go back to tampines with him then he'll drive me home. haha, he was literally dragging me. i was so relieved to see my bus appearing.
it was a light hearted, pleasant get together... after like wat? 2 years since i last saw them. it was nice to meet up with pple whom i feel comfortable with, whom i grew up together with, whom i share so many experiences n memories with. =) n i'm glad yigencao was doing most of the toking. i could juz sit back, relax n listen. i'm tired of toking n serving these days... must be the ill effects of my job =(
my dear has signed on to the police force and joined the class of working adults (they burst out laughing when i said that... said i'm still such a kid) yigencao juz started his uni education n is feeling discouraged because his efforts in chasing a girl for 5 months seems to be going down the drain.
i'm feeling discouraged too (due to very different reasons), but din share... was more interested in wat's gg on in their lifes than mine.
yigencao is still such a sweet-talker, juz like those days when we conversed daily over the phone. my dear looks exactly the same, haven aged at all. also always the one sitting next to us, listening on, laughing n laughing quietly as me n yigencao argue. haha! makes me think of those good old times...... not all outings after a 2year gap turns out so well. hopefully we'll meet up more often.
