breaking convention

i treated jeremy to lunch today. it was russian. not bad really. =)

but, wat's the big deal abt a girl paying? i mean, izzant it like a xingfu thing if there are girls willing to treat u to lunch??

jeremy was abit embarassed. he said that the army guys from the adjacent table n the couple from the table behind both turned their heads to look when the waiter passed the bill to me. n they even had eye contact with him! maybe he was being over-sensitive, but i believed that actually happened.

wat's wrong with a girl footing the bill? would u look at the guy differently if u spot smthg like this happening at the next table? would you???
