meeting his mum
it was only a mere 1 day after we got together when feng asked me when i was free for dinner at his place, so that he can show me to his mum.
after more than 6 months, i finally agreed to have dinner at his place for the first time yest (rather reluctantly actually). scared!
met him at his bus stop and we went to compass point to settle n buy some stuff first. its a not too bad heartland mall, was surprised at the variety of shops there. n as we walked back to his home, hand in hand, with the occasional cool breeze, i realised that maybe i can really get used to life like that. ahh, the simple pleasures of life. ;p
he unlocked the door n walked in. i was a step behind. met his mum for the first time. could sense her giving me the once-over as i shut the metal door behind me. (was there some sort of disappointment?? think she expected me to be skinnier......)

"happy new year auntie." *smilez* (uneasiness, where's my oranges?!)
passed her the oranges, "auntie, shen ti jian kang"
fast forward to dinner...
she stayed home to cook dinner esp for me. 4 dishes - too much. dropped my spoon halfway thru. so embarassing! it somehow juz slid thru my fingers, *piang* onto my plate. hahah! how did i pass my fine dining course???!
did the dishes, watched tv together, making small talk. gave up, n went to play with his sis's hamster (it bit me twice!), then played othello in his room. he decided to send me home, even his mum insisted. sigh, when mother n son are lydat, nothing much i can do to object rite?
hmm.... hope she likes me. i mean, i'm shy around strangers....... otherwise, i'm a great girl y'know. =) hahahaha
