epitome of my hopes for future bliss
i enjoy working at the pushcart. i mean there are the downs lah, eg. the irritating customers (those who try try try n dun buy or those who keep asking for discount or those who are juz plain rude), the scorching sun despite being indoors, juz the crowd that makes things overwhemling, the long standing hours... but its far more interesting than in a normal store upstairs with little people or sales. at least at the pushcart, there's hundreds of people to look at. bugis is damn diverse - angmos, arabs, indian bizman, indonesian taitais, aquas are common. n there are seriously ALOT of pretty girls n beautiful bods walking around. and the tai-tais or even the wannabe fake taitais. its interesting to look at the couples that come in all styles, shapes n sizes. n of coz, the many lil cuddly cute babies and toddlers. =)
today, a family left an impression altho they din buy anything in the end. haha.
the father was pleasant looking and rather fatherly. his 2 girls were running around him with the maid hanging ard behind some dist away. both his kids look like him very much - haha, not very pretty coz he has a big nose. but still very cute coz they are happy kids. always laughing, smiling active and playing. on n off, he would play with the younger girl, abt 3yrs, running towards her as if he's gonna catch her. the older girl (abt 8yrs) was busy checking out the pushcart, she wanted to choose smthg for her mum - lots of scrambling to n fro, this way n that, grabbing her dad to come see, n later picking up the bracelet/ring bringing it to her father.
the mum appeared n the older girl excitedly asked her mum to choose. the father pointed to smthg he tot was nice. the mum started choosing and all with the older girl giving lots of suggestions. to her, everything looked nice on her mum. she particularly liked a puny butterfly necklace n asked her father to let her try it on. i put it on for her n it looked far to adult-y on her. on removing it, her father said, " wat must u say to
auntie?" (!!! AUNTIE!!!! *grrr* when did i become an auntie) she turned round shyly n mouthed thankew.
father put his arm around his wife n said," u like the ring, buy it lohz. its nice." awww... girl
said," papa gonna buy smthg for mama and he gonna qiu2hun1 (propose) again." hahahha. all this while, the little one is not missing in action, she's constantly running ard, knocking into father's legs, and trying to take a peek at watever she can barely see from her height.
they left after awhile. apparently the mother din feel comfortable buying rodium products due to sensitive skin. oh well, doesn't matter much to me, since we've oredi hit our target.
such a loving couple, with a loving family. happy n nice.
in 15 yrs time, i'll prob have my 3kids by then. my figure will prob be gone n i'll prob look like the ideal model for "before" pictures of weight-loss programs. my breasts will sag, my butt not as perk, my face lined with wrinkles......
but if my husband still loves me n still dotes on me like the father i encountered today. n i have
lovely loving kids who are happy n cheerful. i will definitely be living in ultimate bliss. i will be
very happy. truly. truly happy.
