yesterday was the first time in my smu life doing a presentation that was almost impromtu. it was for labor econs. spent like 9 hours straight working on the proj with my grp mates the day b4, and yet, the regressions were not finished and without the regressions, there were no results to tok abt. gosh. only half of the slides were completed. but yet, the leader of the grp. wasn't very kanchong. when our mtg adjourned at 9pm when the library closed and we all had to leave, she was like, "dont worry, i'll finish the slides and send it out by 6am."
2 girls in my grp are like permanent Dean's List recipients and the way they work is rather scary. as in, they can work on projects/reports thruout the nite and slp for like 2 hours, then go to sch in the morn. its crazy. i cant do that. the most i can do is pia till 3am, then i really hafta slp liaoz. maybe that's why they are on Dean's list n i'm not? haha. but really, the older i get, the more i feel that there is more to life than good grades. of coz, i still do the very best i can in everything, but juz in a slightly different mentality i guess.
anyway, back to the presentation. i managed to see roughly wat slides i was supposed to present on b4 my jap class started. but they updated the slides and i only had like a couple of minutes to look thru b4 prof called our grp up to present first. thankfully, it went alrite, fumbled on some words as usual, eg. said "marital hours" instead of "marital status on hours". haha.
after class, met feng for a movie. (a movie during Week12 of term! haha, thats a first too) we watched The Guardian at only $6.50! hehe, coz i had this 1-for-1 ticket at The Cathay. its my fave cinema at the mo - got lots of discount, beautiful interior and carpeting and nice couple seats. =) oh, The Guardian is good! - worth watching.
