December internship
work has been alrite despite the pathetic wages of $3/hour n the 8am-reporting-to-work-time (which is actually earlier since need to catch the shuttle at 745...). hahaha, i guess after summer's internship, expectations has been lowered and i'm not so bitter abt being cheap labor aka photocopying, data entry and errands girl. its really all abt attitude i guess, and of coz the comforting tot that i'll only be there for 2 more weeks, more specifically, 9 days. wee! =) hehe.
i'm grateful for this opportunity to be exposed to an entirely different work culture and environment. i guess for me, change usually comes as a refresher. it was really rather fun to walk around in the production line all by myself clad in a smock and mouth piece (its a clean room environment), searching for specific equipment to label and all. the people are nice and my supervisor is always so apologetic. haha, i think he feels like he's exploiting me, so is always very nice to explain things clearly, make sure i understand the objective of the tasks n answer my many questions even tho he is really very busy. n i think there's this guy (temp) who's interested in me. hahahahahhaa, so fun rite? yesh, cheap thrill, i know.... but its fun to realise that someone always looks up whenever i walk pass. =)
