people get more and more unforgiving with age. accidents that happen when we're kids are like so natural and even inevitable. everytime we played catching or when we ran abt, frens falling down was like an everyday thing. we either juz simply pick ourselves up or are helped up by caring frens, brush our wounds and carry on playing. i remember the days when boy classmates or churchmates always forget to zip up. after laughing at their open-coffee-shops, such 'accidents' were treated lightly n easily forgotten.
yet in adulthood, such human mistakes are not taken in such light-heartedness. it is commonly noticed that when some unfortunate soul falls, many stare n carry on walking while some even distance themselves from the accident n label that person as clumsy, etc. it was a full one min before anyone of those starers decided to lend a helping hand when i tripped (n sat there in shock) in the library some time ago. forgetting to zip up is certainly a big deal n a super embarrassing thing to guys, and definitely not smthg that will slip their mind for at least the next few days...................
i saw a man's open fly on the bus today. being a female stranger, i could only hope that his frens will let him know. on another note, he was wearing white. how rare!
