i'm not interested to appear in a commercial

smthg quite exciting happened to me today. hehe! i was standing outside a shop in PS, minding my own business n texting away on my phone while waiting for watson n alvin to arrive- we were mtg for lunch. some pple walked past me. 1 of them did a double take, walked back n suddenly he started blabbering to me. i was rather stunned coz he was toking really fast n i couldnt quite catch him. only sorta made out that he's from some talent company n inviting me to audition for a jewellery ad. b4 i could actually register, he had oredi shoved his namecard into my hand, whipped out his pen n little notebook n asking for my name n number. i just stared blankly back at him. hahaha. den he asked me in mandarin if i understood him. HAHAHA. actually alot of things were running thru my mind. like: is he just trying to get my number? is this guy some con? shld i give a stranger my number? he doesn't look con coz he was in nice working wear, had a creative edge to his appearance n seemed to be heading for the PS kopitiam for lunch. how can i audition when i'm starting work so soon?

anyway, i just smiled back at him n said "i'm not interested to appear in a commercial", returned him his namecard n said thanks. ohmygosh, wasn't i cool? hahahahha. like real i didn't wanna appear in an ad man! i think most girls haf tot of being a star at some point of her life. just that at 23 n abt to begin my career, this opportunity's timing abit bad lah. there was this time, couple yrs back, this girl approached me at orchard mrt asking me if i interested to be a model n i stared back in disbelief. i almost said, "are u kidding? how can someone so short n fat be a model? u must be blind." but i only blurted a loud "HUH?" hahaha

anyway, of coz i told watson n alvin abt the ad thing the moment i met them. n they just started laughing. hahahaha. yesyes, i know lah. how can someone like me appear in an ad? where got pretty enough or elegant enough? alvin was like "not costume jewellery rite?" bleahz..... i think it was the hair lah. i wore it up differently today. exposed my neck n nice collarbones. =) watson started toking abt a fren who went to audition for a nokia ad n his frens were speculating that the ad probably just showed her hands. like okok, i get the msg, hahaha.

yupz. still, its smthg interesting that doesn't happen everyday n certainly boosts the ego. lunching with the guys was nice too! they're frens who show they care by keeping up to date with my blogging n asking me out, heh!
