Ratatouille

had to catch it b4 i leave! n being the nice gentleman that he is, xiongge agreed to accompany me yest n also booked the tix online (since it was opening nite). its totally worth watching becoz of the incredibly superb animation. but the plot is abit of a letdown. i guess its bcoz i expected so much more n there wasn't any surprises. felt that it somehow lacked character built-up n hence not very emotional coz u aren't drawn to relate with the character.... not like in monster's inc when Sulley had to say goodbye to Boo. u know in finding nemo, i started crying within the first 5min! when marlin scooped up the single remaining cracked egg n promised to take care of nemo.

anyway, ratatouille still had really really funny scenes. there was this hilarious kitchen part that i was so engrossed in that made me forget that i'm in a big theatre n sorta lost it by laughing sooo loud. was abit paiseh after that, but aiyah, who can see its me rite? =) i still think its a good feel-good movie worth watching bcoz just its animation will blow u away. i'm a total animation lover anyway.

xiongge sent me home after the show n i must mention abt a sweet gesture of his. the last time i was in his car, he asked wat kinda music i listen to n i said classical symphony. last nite when we got into the car, his player was abt to play justin timberlake's sexy. but he spent some time to switch the music to some christian classical cd before driving off. it was quite funny, but i didn't ask him abt it until i was almost home. i was like, "i still listen to JT kinda music u know..." n he was like, "i also listen to classical ah..." haha..... yah, its sweet that he remembered n its really not often that drivers cater to the likes of their passengers, no? heh, maybe i've not been in many pple's cars. :p
