sure enough, Mizuho called with an offer yest, which i rejected this morn. no regrets n am at peace, despite the bank's offer being slightly more attractive. =) i believe there's a reason for all that has happened. i've got faith: "Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see." - Hebrews 11:1
stumbled across my notes from CF's work n money seminar n was reminded that work is never really abt ourselves. everything is for God n to constantly strive to be a witness n testimony. i must try hard to always remember that n not get tooo caught up in performance n climbing up the corporate ladder, as i definitely will haf the tendency to lose sight with my inbuilt competitive nature...
hmmm... okie, on to less serious stuff. =) went down to BT campus to take some more photos b4 returning my 60bucks grad gown on sat. i really do not understand why a gown like this (without rabbit fur like cambridge's wor), costs $226 to buy, when other unis can buy theirs for like 45bucks. somehow smu always seem to get the most expensive stuff. bleahz.
enjoy the pix slideshow! many pix at the old campus are still with frens.... n the BT campus has changed soo much! sorry lawyers, but the white paint job is really quite distasteful in my opinion. plus sooo many beautiful trees were chopped down! =(
oh, a special special mention to deedee who accompanied me to return my gown n became my photog under the scorching sun! n i know how u hate to sweat... thanks SO much! really appreciate it *hugz*
