Wenshan

had lunch with wenshan today. she's a real blessing to me. ever since secondary sch i guess =) its kinda funny how we became close. it was alll becoz of NDP'99 where NY girls was involved in a dance item which made us dress up in this super ugly leotard, sequinned costume with a cape. haha, like superhero lydat. yes that's us there... really ugly get up. =(

anyway, wenshan n i were in the same banner group (we had to dance around then fold out this huge banner with mindef's logo or smthg on it n parade the banner ard). we just clicked really well. after that, she just kept coming over to my class n hung out w my clique. peishan, wenshan n i (thats the 3 of us on the right) became rather close n ppl always said we look like sisters in all the neoprints we took =)


after all these years, we still meet up regularly n she's just been such a blessing esp the past few mths when i was dealing with the breakup. i was still v emotionally unstable n kept tearing up when i met her for meals.... she showered so much tender loving care n constantly encouraged n prayed for me. i felt guilty coz i kept toking abt my struggles n not showing enough care abt how she is. n her reply was such a gracious "there's a season for everything." i thank God for such a loving, caring, wise and God-fearing sister.

today, as we were toking abt my past relationship, i started tearing up again. sigh.... i guess when u're really comfortable with somebody who really understands, u wont be afraid to be totally urself...... really feel that we've both grown soo much. she's become very matured n wise, n i'm so happy that she's doing wat she loves, learning so much everyday and is happily attached to a God-fearing man.
you know how in teenage years everybody always wrote "keep in touch, frenz forever"? sadly not many frenships stand the test of time. i'm confident that this frenship will. =)
