Nahz, he's not my dog. i just spent the afternoon yest, at my best fren's, playing with him. i'm sorry, but jack russells are not and will never be my kind of doggie. firstly, honestly, they're ugly. secondly, they're too active. A golden retriever - that is definitely on my wish list.
it was cool hanging out with my best fren, just doing homely stuff, like helping to fix her shower screen door, playing with Rondo, bathing him, drying him and watching her dig his ears, etc. i never realised having a doggie is such a liability. n its kinda humbling to see how dependent such animals are on humans......

despite his not so appealing appearance, Rondo grows on u. in fact, he is rather lovable. besides food n shelter, he just needs attention, someone who will play with him. i was very frightened the first few minutes when i walked thru the door. he was sooo agressive, trying to scrample outta meishi's arms unto me. i stood frozen, but after letting him lick n check me out he became slightly less excited but continued jumping up to me. haha... he is one hyper dog. but still relatively guai. he would sit, roll over n play dead at my command. heh! by the end of the day, he could jump over my legs too, provided im holding his bone of coz =p

but dogs are strange. one moment, u're tossing the ball to him, the next he thinks u're his mate. crazy dirty deprived dog. hahaha. i had to stand up in an authoritative pose in order for him to stop his over-excitedness and crazy fantasies. even then, he'd look up to me with a puzzled expression. sheesh.
anyway, the poor dog was shrieking upon my departure. was kinda heartbreaking. i would love to haf a doggie, but i think i'm not up to it - it requires such a commitment and responsibility. but mainly coz i dun think my heart can take it if anything happens to it.
