in the valley
the past weekend was quite a rollercoaster ride emotionally.
sat: enjoyed chilling at cosy eclectic attic, then it was soo cooool to be at the museum for the entire afternoon browsing thru the greek sculptures n artefacts n having silly fun with the robes. will have another post with pix abt that later. then amazing race with xiongge's cg. haiyohz, i was dead tired coz had been walking abt the entire afternoon plus my mickey mouse converse wasn't exactly great activity shoes. n just as my aching feet felt better from my not moving them an inch during the bus ride home, an ass steped on my ankle, ANKLE!, as i was abt to get off. wat are the chances of that happening man? but somehow i tend to get "blessed" by such accidents.
sun: the revelation that my boss was saying unnice things abt me behind my back, which were obviously untrue and totally ridiculous. its plain stupid and i am aghast by how petty and malicious some top management can be. coming in tops means nothing; watever i do right or wrong or not do, it doesn't matter, there's always smthg she can say abt it. i'm dumbfounded and greatly affected.
am considerably disturbed. couldn't slp much last nite n had to take a double dose of ginseng powder this morn. today's experience in a new dept wasn't too nice either. sigh. my new mentor asked me to look thru some stuff at 6+pm. i tot i had to finish it so stayed till 7+, only to realise he had oredi left without informing me. i was seated right by the door (back-facing)! it wouldn't be too much of a trouble or outta the way to just let me know i could continue tmr. to make matters worse, being the klutz i am, tripped over myself when i wanted to check if he was still around, fell and ripped the ribbon off my brand new pair of heels.
i am such a sad case. the rollercoaster is still at its low.
