CAPAP09 assessment
woke up early this morning and got dressed in a really pretty formal black sleeveless dress that i've not worn b4, matched with my peep-toe black heels from bangkok n new black flowery framed specs (that everyone has been commenting: how nice n special. heh!). it was the assessment center day for the next batch of CAPAP u see, n i hafta look more formal (n inevitably, prettier =p) than usual ;)
i always find interacting with ppl rather tiring. n we had to do just that the whole day. i mean, its an interesting day n quite exciting in fact, but doesn't change the fact that it is tiring to be nice n frenly n all smiles n all ready to answer qns the entire day....... actually i am rather disappointed with the quality/standard of the pple who came for the interview today. out of the 10, there were only a couple whom i'll wanna be frens with. n sadly, out of those few, some didn't perform at all during the assessment. n u know, our assessment isn't a breeze at all - involving panel interview, impromtu presentation, teamwork activity n group discussion. oh well,,, i guess that's why u rarely find frens among colleagues. (i am SO thankful bel n i are frens! =))
a twist to the day came at the end when the panel (top mgmt) decided to call us back to ask for our feedback n opinion abt the candidates from our informal interactions with them. apparently they had a hard time shortlisting them and it wasn't as clear cut as last yr ;p. but sigh, as how such things usually work with mgmt - ur voice is heard but ur influence is small n their opinions are stronger n their decision always final. usually, they just like u there to concur...... anyway, so there are ppl i dun fancy in their top choices. i just hope they dun sign! hahaha..... geesh, we'll see how it goes, n i really should care less.
on a side note, i think i'm becoming more n more judgemental........ no good ah......
