patience is my best virtue?
just 3 months into the job and i have become a 师姐, with an intern 'reporting' to me. like (=.=)
cant believe that my boss can just 'throw' this young boy to me and i'm supposed to assign him stuff to do, coach him along etc. AT THE BUSIEST TIME OF THE YEAR!! its fiscal year close this month btw......
its the 2nd day at the job for him with both days just reading n reading. he must be bored stiff. but i cant do anything abt it, since boss brought him in at the absolutely wrong time. i told both of them straight in the face that i have so many things to do, i dunno whether i can attend to him. the intern is rather ok la... i check on him from time to time and spent some time gg through my dept's and company's org structure n businesses with him (which my boss nv did and i doubt he even knows...) , so that he has somethings to write for his journal today. heh =P even took it upon myself to take him out for lunch yest. he's cute, rather fair, almond shaped face, and big round eyes. but not my type, basically bcoz he is kinda slow..... intelligence, a sharp mind and sense of humor really does it for me. but at least he's cute. =) so i shall have more patience with him.
in case its not explicit enough... i'm getting more n more frustrated with my boss - his attitude and how he handles things. but since i cant change him, i can only make do and find ways to cope with it. many days its really a test of my patience. i'm definitely on good training grounds.
