miaka moment
Fushigi Yuugi scene: Chichiri was giving Miaka advice abt how to handle her best fren Yui's hatred. but miaka didn't really understand.
i am having that miaka moment, tho the context is entirely different of coz.
me: why am i working so hard? wat is my problem??
mentor, O: you must be able to see the light at the end of the tunnel.
me: WHAT?
O: your problem is whether you're able to see the light.
i turned to face him directly, very puzzled: i really dun understand wat u're saying.
O: basically ur boss is the tunnel.
sigh, it might seem like a perfectly comprehensible conversation and totally bimbotic of me not to get it. but trust me, there's so many layers to it...... esp after he elaborated....... sometimes this mentor of mine makes me more confused than i oredi am. nevertheless, i'm thankful that he is always happy to entertain my inquisitiveness.
perhaps i am thinking too much, perhaps things are not as complicated as how he makes it out to be sometimes. KISS (keep it simple stupid!). but can this creativity principle i was taught during my artistic days be applied in the real world?
anyway, thank you all for your concern. the horrid week has passed, i am ok. ;)
